I went and saw the Picasso exhibit in Seattle at the Seattle Art Museum recently…it was amazing. Eight decades of his work were represented there. The exhibit is on until January 17th. Here are a few of my favorites – Portrait of Dora Mar, The Matador, and Reading…

Force for 50 cents.

I went to Victoria this weekend for some family time and to my surprise, I found that Vader not only can choke you out without touching you but he can play a mean classical tune on a violin as well. I gave him 50 cents for his skills and a nickel for the Galactic Empire’s death star rebuild which, they are currently working on. He happily accepted my offering and said don’t tell the Emperor.

The Vader Project

Posted in Celebrity, Design, Funny, ideas, Inspiration, Photo, Random, Star Wars, Toys, travel with tags , , , , , on June 24, 2010 by Jason Craig

I was lucky enough to catch the Vader Project display at a Gallery on Melrose the other day, if you haven’t heard about it you can check it out HERE

“One hundred contemporary and urban artists were invited to give Darth Vader’s helmet a makeover and the results were astounding. Quite an array of looks were produced, but the headwear of the Sith remains easily recognizable whether adorned by Plasticgod, Gary Baseman, Shag, Dalek, Amanda Visell, Bob Dob, Tim Biskup, Marc Ecko and a host of others. The show has been travelling for four years and will be at Freeman’s Auction in Los Angeles in June before moving on to Philly for the auction on July 10. The Vader Project is curated and produced by Dov Kelemer and Sarah Jo Marks of DKE Toys.”

I’m pretty stoked on how my photo’s turned out!, I may assemble some sort of poster and print a few copies…
